William Dewayne Newberry, age 65, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He graduated from West High School, class of 1975. Bill retired from Liberty Coach in Stuart, Florida after 25 years of faithful service.
He was preceded in death by father, William Henry Newberry; brother by love, Jimmy Leatherwood. Bill is survived by and greatly missed by mother, Juanita Evars; sisters, Jeannie Leatherwood and Patii Augustadt; niece, Jessi (B.J.) Singletary; grand nephews, Brennen and Briley Singletary; nephew, Auston Leatherwood; grand nieces, Haley and Emily Leatherwood; nieces, Lily (Luke) Birkeland, Iris Augustadt and Daisy (Wills) Hipsher; grand nephews and grand nieces, Joey, Tommy, Maddie, Bailey and Marley Hipsher; niece, Rose (Matt) Williams; grand nephews and nieces, Cole, Callie and Meryl Williams.
Graveside service will take place Thursday, October 20th at 1pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting at the graveside at 12:45pm. Rev. Kent Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, 701 Merchant Dr. Knoxville, TN 37912.
