Alice and I were classmates in high school.  We both were in FHA and enjoyed working together on various projects.  I remember working our senior year on the FHA banquet.  I remember her as being very creative.  My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Alice's passing.  Growing up we were neighborhood playmates and friends.  I remember her with great fondness.  My condolences to the family.

Alice was a very special lady to work with at Harlingen High School South. She was always thoughtful and considerate of others. She loved helping her students do their best. She truly cared for them. If she knew it was your birthday (fellow teachers or students), she would come into your classroom and sing her "Happy, Happy Birthday" song to you with a little dance, ending in lifting up her heels & kicking them together. She was a delight to behold. 
A few months ago, when my cousin Ada Montano Castle, a very dear friend of Alice's, was in town, we went out to lunch. Alice had coupons & treated us to a meal & refused to let us pay at all. We enjoyed our visit for a good while. I have extremely fond memories of her.
 My condolences to her family. She will be missed.

What a bright light Alice always brought to LFHS and all those who love her.  We were fortunate to call her friend.
