Alicia Garza, beloved mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Harlingen, Texas, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, at the age of 53. She was born on September 7, 1972, in Raymondville, Texas.
Alicia was a devoted and loving single mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to raising her three children: Johnathon, Eddie, and Cassandra. Her strength, resilience, and unwavering love defined her life and left an indelible mark on her family. She is also survived by her mother, Concepcion, and her brother, Robert Jr., all of whom cherished her deeply.
Alicia was predeceased by her father, her grandfather, and both grandmothers.
Alicia’s life was a testament to perseverance and unconditional love. Her greatest pride and joy were her children, and she worked tirelessly to ensure their happiness and well-being. She loved to spend time in Port Mansfield feeding the deer, along with spending cherished moments with her family.
