Obituary of Andy Aguilar
Andy Aguilar, age 29, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Andy was born August 14, 1993 to Josefina Rickert and Alfonso Aguilar Jr (Francis). Andy was such a beloved son, brother, and husband. He was such an outgoing person who loved doing anything and everything, from fishing gar to working on vehicles with his brother. He enjoyed sports so much. His favorite football team was the patriots, basketball the celtics and baseball, the Red Socks. Playing pool was his favorite hobby to do and was really a great player, to evening playing in pool leagues around Harlingen. He loved spending time with his daughter Anaia who was his pride and joy. He enjoyed all kinds of music. His brother Arturo is someone he always looked up to. He grew up to be a mechanic just like him. The went on trips together and were inseparable growing up. Wherever Arturo was there was Andy right behind him. He wanted a family just like and got what he wanted with a family. He loved to go on family trips to Six Flags and boy did he love the rides. He rode the rides with his niece Shelby and they always had a blast together. He leaves behind his favorite pet guinea pig Bugsy. He always talked about him. It never failed that he had a Pepsi with him, his favorite beverage. His brother always told him to drink water but said "that" was his water. Andy will dearly be missed by many but never forgotten. Andy is survived by his mother Josefina Rickert and father Alfonso Aguilar Jr (Francis) his girlfriend Brianna Flores, his daughter Anaia Aguilar and his born to be daughter Michaela Aguilar. Andy also leaves behind his brothers Arturo Aguilar ( Jennifer Resendiz), Mathew Aguilar, Armando Aguilar and his sister Roxanne Aguilar; his grandfather Juan Segovia Alvarez, his grandmother Flora Alvarez, his aunt Minerva Alvarez, his uncle John Paul Alvarez, his aunt Izzy Alvarez, his aunt Lupita Montemayor, his uncle Ernie Montemayor, his aunt Nora Moreno, his aunt Estella Aguilar, his aunt Rebecca Perez and his aunt Rachel Guzman and several cousins including Jonus Alvarez, Tiddus Alvarez, Jacob Moreno, J. B. Nava, Benny Nava and Froina Lee all who will miss him dearly. . A visitation for Andy will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. A second day visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A chapel funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home with Burial to follow 11:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
