Aurelia was born September 25, 1924, in Monterrey N.L Mexico to Emiteria Garcia and Nolberto Galvan.
She resided in Harlingen, Texas for 72 years where she lived with her husband, Hugo L. Maya, of 64 years. They raised one son and one daughter, had five grandchildren, six great grandchildren. She was always there to help and advise her family and friends. She leaves behind a strong legacy. Nana, you will be greatly missed.
Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents Nolberto Galvan and Emitila Garcia; her siblings, Juana, Amparo, Nolberto, Jose and Sebastian; her husband, Hugo L. Maya and son in law, Rodney Huff.
She is survived by her sister, Delia Galvan Torres; Son Hugo (Victoria) Maya Jr and daughter Irma Huff; grandchildren, Justin (Natalie) Maya, Dylan (Kami) Maya, Victoria Maya, Chris (Belinda) Huff, Jennifer Huff; Great grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Kealani, Maverick, Makayla, Kailtyn and numerous nieces and nephews.
