Aurelio Garcia Jr.

Aurelio Garcia Jr., age 63, of San Benito, Texas, entered eternal rest on June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on July 2, 1962, in Harlingen, Texas, Aurelio was the beloved son of the late Aurelio Garcia Sr. and Maria C. Garcia.

He is survived by his loving wife, Estela Garcia; his children, Amanda Garcia (Bobby Valdez) and Aurelio “AJ” Garcia III, his beloved granddaughters, Rylie Rae and Raya Rae Valdez; and his siblings, Aurora San Miguel, Fernando Salazar, Dora E. Garcia, and Tomasa Villarreal.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Federico Salazar, Francisco Salazar, and Feliberto Salazar.

Aurelio was a proud and adoring Papa to his cherished granddaughters, Rylie Rae and Raya Rae Valdez. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his family. He was their provider and greatest supporter.

Aurelio had a love for the beach and classic rock and roll.

He worked hard to provide for his family and took great pride in ensuring they were cared for and loved.

Although his passing leaves a profound emptiness in our hearts, we are grateful for the years, memories, laughter, and love we shared with him.
