A teacher at Lyford ISD, our Mom spent her career impacting the lives of all those she came across. She was a member of St. Alban’s Church for 30 plus years where her 3 kids went to school, she worked as a teacher’s aide and Kinder Teacher, and served the Lord as a member of the Altar Guild. Carla loved being a mother and grandmother. She made sure to let us all know how proud she was by attending any and all activities, showering us with her love and pride.Carla Jo was considered a mother figure to those who knew her, often lending a listening ear and word of advice to those who needed it.
Carla is predeceased by her parents Vernon and Betty Johnson, and is survived by her children Rachel Armstrong, Sarah and JP Santos, Tyler and Ashlea Armstrong. Her grandkids Isaiah and Silas Pastor, Emmy and Noah Armstrong, and Ella Santos.
