Mr. Gonzales was born in Donna, Texas and had lived in Weslaco since 1975. He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique M. Gonzales and Bertha De La Garza.
Mr. Gonzales is survived by his wife, Alicia Cortes Gonzales; four sons, Carlos (Mariana) Gonzales Jr. of Edinburg, Sergio (Veronica) Gonzales of Pharr, Roberto (Mayra) Gonzales of Weslaco, Julio (Yesenia) Gonzales of Weslaco; one daughter, Alexandria (Adrian) Pena of Weslaco; 14 grandchildren; He had two brothers, Enrique Gonzales, Jorge L. Gonzales; five sisters, Bertha Ramirez, Victoria Gonzales, Elsa Gonzales, Nora Gonzales, Nelda Gonzales.
