Cupertino Salas

Cupertino was a strong and devoted Christian man who was known for his disciplined character and deep love for his family. He especially cherished his wife and took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather. Those who knew him remember him as a man of strong values and faith.

He had a special admiration for eagles and enjoyed wearing caps. Cupertino also loved animals, especially dogs. One of his beloved companions was his dog named “Negra,” who brought him great joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Ninfa Salas; his children, Ricardo Salas (Norma), Edith Salas-Alvarez (Alejandro), Sandra Salas-Delgado (Juan), Edgar Salas (Patricia), Julio Salas, Luis Salas (Rosa), Jesus Salas (Teresa), and Minerva Salas Oliver (Adam). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Cupertino was preceded in death by his son, Cupertino Salas Jr. and Guadalupe Salas. His parents, Rosbel Salas and Guadalupe Uvalle; and his daughter, Maria Ninfa Salas.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Royal Palm, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, on March 19, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

A Prayer service will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Royal Palm, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, on March 19, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
