Deepest condolences to Lucy, D.D., Lori and the extended family for the loss of great uncle Danny. I always remember him with a smile and always offered to help you, if in need. He and Lucy were so kind to come and visit Mom (Celia) several times when she was sick in the hospital or at home in Corpus. May all of you have the love and comfort Jehovah gives during this time of sorrow (2 Thes. 2:16, 17). We shall wait patiently until "all those in the memorial tombs (Danny, Mom and many other loved ones) will hear his voice". (John 5:28) 💐

Uncle Danny is resting in peace awaiting the Bible's promise of the restoration of life on earth for eternity - even the sea will give up its dead in the coming resurrection to life. What a glorious and wonderful time that will be!
When I was a little boy, I used to think like a little boy... so, when I turned around in my chair and saw my young aunt Lucia sitting next to a young man... I looked at her... I looked at him a little longer... I looked again at aunt Lucia... and squinted my eyes and shook my head from side to side. Boy! was I wrong! They were in love, Danny was a good "catch", they got married, and I'm glad Lucia didn't take my "advice" (after all, what do little boys know about love anyway!)
I'm 70yrs old now and I'll miss Danny's smile, his manner of speaking, his devotion to aunt Lucia & family, and his Christian love for other people.
May we all continue on, imperfect as we may be, and gain comfort from the hope of the resurrection.
