David's love for life was reflected in every endeavor he pursued, from his sprawling ranch to his passion for motorcycles.
Born and raised in the heart of Texas, David developed an early affinity for the outdoors. His ranch was not just a piece of land; it was his sanctuary, where he thrived among the beauty of nature. An avid horseback rider, he found joy in raising horses, often sharing stories of his favorite steeds with anyone who would listen. His deep connection with these magnificent animals showcased his gentle spirit and unwavering dedication.
David's talents extended beyond the ranch. He was a master of his craft, spending countless hours repairing classic cars and welding stunning metal structures. His hands, skilled and steady, transformed rusty relics into works of art, each piece telling a story of his meticulous attention to detail and passion for craftsmanship. Friends and family often marveled at his ability to breathe new life into forgotten treasures.
A true free spirit, David also had a love for motorcycles that mirrored his zest for adventure. David is survived by his devoted wife Sandra Gonzalez, his children Brenda Velasquez, April Sims, Robin Renee Detiberus, David Gonzalez Jr. and Eloy Peralez, Amber Arellano, his grandchildren Adysin J. Peralez, Alexzander Sims, David Gonzalez III, Madeline Robertson, Zachary Gonzalez, Julius Arellano, Angel Arellano, Jordan Arellano, his siblings Joe H. Gonzalez Jr. and Linda Gautreaux, and his great-grandchild Natalina Love Gonzalez, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and creativity. He leaves behind a community of friends who were touched by his kindness, generosity, and infectious enthusiasm for life. David is preceded by his parents, Joe H. and Madeline Gonzalez, his brothers Robert Russell Nunley and Orlando Henry Gonzalez, and his sister Sylvia Benita Cheany.
