He loved golf (two holes in one), fishing, bowling (perfect 300 game), John Wayne, traveling with his wife, and spending the last 17 winters in TX escaping the Minnesota cold and hanging out at The Texas Rose with friends. He was a Handyman by trade and could fix anything.
He is survived by Catherine, his wife of 30 years; daughters Christine Callanan, Rachel Callanan (Nick Slade) and Cynthia Dostal (Tony Retelny); grandchildren Elliot Slade, Clara Boudreaux (John) and Ben Dodge; niece Dana Grahek (Jim) and nephews Rick Bratrude(Michelle) and David Williams (Lori) . Also survived by in-laws Bill Boulger, John Boulger, Anne Skahen, Dee Boulger and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents George and Jeanette, sisters Bonnie Williams and Janet Carlyle, parents-in-law Wm. and Eleanor Boulger, brothers-in-law Larry Williams and Jim Boulger, and sister-in-law Mary Andrews.
Memorials to DAV. There will be no formal Service but we’ll raise a Pint and reminisce at a later date in both MN and TX.
