
Delores was born on November 12, 1932, in Woodward, IA to Lawrence and Louise Hoskinson. She grew up in Davenport, IA where she met her husband of 59 years, Ralph J. Fuller. The two retired and moved to Harlingen in 1979. Ralph passed in 2007.
Delores dedicated her life to her family and was well known for her involvement in the community and being a voice for the people. She spoke at countless city council meetings and penned numerous letters to the editor seeking justice and urging community members to get involved.
She touched many lives when she worked as an advocate for nursing home patients and section 8 housing recipients. Mothers against Drunk Driving also recruited her help. She actively participated in several of the elections campaigning for local politicians.
Delores will always be remembered by those that knew her for her outgoing personality and her courage to speak her mind. She was a unique human being of many talents and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Surviving her are her three sons, Steven of Iowa, Larry of Kansas, and Jerry of Texas. He daughter Pamela resides in New York. Her daughter Sue Ann passed away at age 3. At the time of her passing. Delores had 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Delores wished to be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm at American Legion in La Feria.
