Delyssa Marie Alaniz

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Delyssa Marie Alaniz, 36, of La Feria, Texas, who entered eternal rest on August 11, 2026.

Delyssa was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, warmth, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she met. She had a beautiful way of lighting up any room with her smile and bringing joy to those around her. Her love for music, shopping, dining out, and creating treasured memories on family vacations reflected her fun-loving nature and appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Daniel and Maria Alaniz; her twin brother, Daniel Alaniz Jr., her siblings - Nicole Carvajal, Joseph Valdez and wife Adriana Garza, and Donnie Alaniz and wife Manuela Leal. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephew, Carlee Carvajal, Stacy Salinas, Melody Valdez, Aubree Valdez, DJ Alaniz, and Sophia Alaniz, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Delyssa was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved grandparents- Maria Luisa Alaniz, Nasario Valdez, and Herminia Valdez, and her uncle- Ruben Valdez.

Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Valdez, Daniel Alaniz Jr., Donnie Alaniz, Jose Luis Valdez, Pedro Martinez, and Nasario Valdez Jr.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing that she now rests in God's eternal kingdom, free from pain and surrounded by everlasting love. We find comfort in knowing that her love, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched. Her memory will remain a blessing, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved. Until we meet again, may she rest peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Visitation will be held at HEAVENLY GRACE MEMORIAL PARK FUNERAL HOME, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on August 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Holy Rosary there the same day from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 502 S Canal St, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on August 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, US, from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm.
