Diana was born on July 12, 1961, in Mercedes, Texas, to Antonio C. Garza and Pauline A. Garza, and was one of 13 children. Left behind to cherish her loving memory is her husband of 41 years, Fabian Gabriel Saldivar, her daughter Miranda Marroquin (Mario), sons Fabian Anthony Saldivar (Karina), and Gabriel Joseph Saldivar. Her six cherished grandchildren Kenadee Rose and Mason Marroquin, Noah Fabian, Emma Paige, Adam Joseph, and Kimora Yee Saldivar carry on her legacy. Diana grew up in Santa Rosa, Texas, where she cheered for the mighty Santa Rosa Warriors and fell in love with her high school sweetheart.
Renowned for her dedication, Diana began her professional journey at Sunglo Home Health before committing 24 years to serving her cherished community as the Principal’s Secretary of Santa Rosa High School.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bike riding with her husband, spontaneous weekend trips to yard sales with her sisters, and supporting family and students in their athletic and academic pursuits. Diana brought her family’s parties to life with her dazzling themes and creative decorations.
Diana will always be remembered by her family, friends, and community for her honesty, strength, courage, determination, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3pm-7pm with a prayer service at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, we will be welcoming donations in order to establish a scholarship in our mother's name.
