Don spent twenty years in the United States Air Force and then went on to become a computer programmer. After retirement he and his wife bought a motor home and spent the remainder of his life exploring the continental United States and North America.
Don was a member of the New Life Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas and spent the last five winters at Kenwood RV Resort in La Feria, Texas.
Don is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Lynda, his two sons Aaron and Chris and his eight brothers and sisters all who will miss him dearly.
