Dora Eliza Castaneda, born on December 23, 1931, became the Lord’s angel on January 2, 2018. She reunited with her loving husband of more than 60 years, Jesus Castaneda. Dora was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-great mother. She will be dearly missed and always be remembered as an amazing woman with a big heart. She is survived by her children: Daughters; Nelda C. Escobedo (Rene Sr.), Sandra C. Gonzales, Velma Castaneda, Belinda Castaneda (Tony), Yvonne C. Sedano (Victor), Sons; Jesus Castaneda Jr. (Terri), Santiago Castaneda (Lucia), Rodolfo Castaneda (Yvette), Jaime Castaneda, Orlando Castaneda. She had 37 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Pallbearers: Emilio Gonzales, Jesse Gonzales, Jonathan Garcia, Jesse James Castaneda, Jordan Moreno, Kevin Moreno, Daniel Gonzales Jr., Rene Escobedo Jr., Michael Escobedo, Brandon Castaneda, Jose Garcia Jr. and Freddy Gonzales. Visitation will be on January 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm and January 5, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at St Anthony's Church at 10:00 am Saturday January 6, 2018 burial to proceed to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
