Preceded in death by his wife Sheila Claus Schwarz, parents, brothers Fredrick, Edgar, C.W., Harold, Carroll Loyd, sons Shelly and Michael Schwarz.
He is survived by his son Keith (Beverly) Schwarz, grandchildren Sharla (Frank) Villarreal and Casey Schwarz, great grandchildren Sean Schwarz, Shelly, Kyle, Kaleb, Joshua, Sheryl Villarreal, and Ansel Schwarz, brothers Charles Schwarz and August Schwarz.
He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. After the service he became a duster pilot. Owned and operated Santa Rosa Flying Service. Worked at Valley Acres for many years as a crop sprayer, and retired from Rio Grande Valley Sugar Growers as truck driver. He drove there twenty two years. Retired at 72 years of age. He was a God fearing Christian and a member of Rio Hondo Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being taken care of by Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
