

Eminencio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones touched all who knew him. He shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Armandina Cantu, and took great pride in his family.
He is survived by his wife, Armandina Cantu; his children, Gregorio Cantu, Elisa Cantu, and Corina Cantu; and his cherished grandchildren, Gregorio Cantu Jr., Natalie Cantu, Marcus Cantu, Adriana G. Cantu, Elizabeth Jett, and Evelyn Jett.
Eminencio was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo Cantu and Felicitas Rodriguez Cantu, and his brother Guadalupe R. Cantu.
A talented carpenter, Eminencio enjoyed building picnic tables and working with his hands. He found happiness in admiring classic cars, listening to Tejano music from the 1970s, taking peaceful walks, and spending quiet moments watching birds gather at the feeder. He appreciated life's simple pleasures and shared that appreciation with those around him.
Those who knew Eminencio will remember his hardworking nature, gentle spirit, and deep love for his family. His wisdom, laughter, and presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
A viewing and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 2pm. to 9:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and pay their respects as they celebrate the life of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, support, and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
