Erasmo B Abrego

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear father, Mr. Erasmo B. Abrego Jr., age 81 of Harlingen, Texas who passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 20, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Erasmo was born August 31, 1938 in San Benito, Texas to his late father, Erasmo Abrego and mother Delfina B Abrego. He was nothing short of a hardworking man who enjoyed the little things in life such as evening barbecues and flipping through his “dream book” to see what tool he could buy next. Turning on his favorite tunes, watching his shoulder bounce up and down as he listens and working on his green thumb is how we will remember him.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Margarita (Maggie) Noriega, and brothers, Norberto Abrego and Reynaldo Abrego.

Erasmo is survived by his wife of 59 yrs., Margarita Abrego. His children Delfina Abrego, Belinda Gement, Ramon Abrego, Cynthia Massicott, Daniel D. Abrego and sibling Manuel Abrego.

Grandchildren Kristina Perry and (husband) Scott Perry, Dena J. Hinton, Angel H. Flores II and (wife) Brianna M. Flores, David Ray Abrego, Bryan Lee Massicott and (wife) Ashley Massicott, Brittany Haywood and (husband) Justin Haywood, Phillip Massicott, Jocelyn Massicott, Daniel D. Abrego Jr. and Bianca Abrego. 13 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
