Ernesto is survived by son Reymundo Castillo; sister Esperanza Escamilla, brother Juan Escamilla and brother Julio Escamilla.

Ernesto was preceded in death by son Arturo Castillo; mother Esperanza G Escamilla and father Paublo Escamilla.
