He is survived by his children: Jacob M. Flores, Lisa M. Fagin (Richard), Lynnette M. Alvarez, Felix Saldivar (Nora) and Lorena M. Flores (Joseph Aguirre). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers: Gil Armando Flores (Sylvia), Armin Flores (Ramona), Umberto Flores (Alma), Reynaldo Flores (Ester), Oscar Flores (Aurora) and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gil and Antonio G Flores; 3 sisters and 1 brother, Maria Magdalena Flores, Jovita Jones, Arcelia Flores and Elpidio “Pete” Flores (Janie).
Kilo was a proud Veteran having served in the United States Army. We thank him for his honorable service. He was a long-time employee and retired from GTE/Verizon. Staring in 1960 as a custodian, he worked his way up to Civil Telephone Engineer having served 30 years before retiring. After retiring he continued with contractual work for AT&T. Kilo was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 439 of La Feria, TX and the American Legion Post 172 of Mercedes, TX.
He was greatly loved, and he will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, TX. Viewing will be Thursday January 27th, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a graveside burial on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Ebony Grove Cemetery in Mercedes, TX.
