Francisco "Pancho" Treviño Jr.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the Lord called Francisco “Pancho” Treviño Jr. home. He was born on June 29, 1949, in La Feria, Texas. He was the only boy sibling; and, having lost his mother at a very young age, he was raised by his father, and very overprotective, loving sisters.

He graduated from La Feria High School and was an auto part salesman for most of his life. He loved working on old cars and was often called to save the day when his friends needed his mechanic skills. His love for horses led him to be a member of trail riding groups throughout the Rio Grande Valley. He also kept horses at Treviño Ranch. He was a sports enthusiast who absolutely loved the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys; although, most of the time he was too nervous to watch them play. He was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Santa Rosa where his role was the “greeter” and he always did it with a smile. And the only other thing that had him beaming with pride(besides his wife) were his grandchildren.

Pancho is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Gloria, his parents, Francisco and Aurora Treviño, and his granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Garza.

He is survived by his children: Patricia(Rene Garza Sr.)Treviño, Adrian(Tiffany)Treviño, Norma(Joe) Becerra, Marco(Adiana)Treviño. His grandchildren: Rene Garza Jr., Aaron James Garza, Presley Becerra, JR Becerra III, Aldrich Becerra, Adrian Treviño Jr., Aurora Treviño, Andrea Lorenzi, Angelina Treviño, and Marco Treviño Jr. Great grandchildren: Caleb Beuthin and Logan Lorenzi. His sisters Maria E.Treviño, Lupita Garza, Frances Cavazos; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout the state.

Pallbearers will be Adrian F. Treviño, Adrian Treviño Jr., Marco A. Treviño, Marco Treviño Jr., Joe Becerra, Rene Garza Sr., Rene Garza Jr., and Aaron J. Garza. Honorary Pallbearer will be JR Becerra III.

Visitation will take place at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559, on May 28, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Service that evening at 6:30 pm. A Church Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Santa Rosa, TX, on May 29, 2026, at 10:00 am.
