Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday August 11, 2025 at the age of 89.
Georgia was born in Harlingen Texas on August 5, 1936 to Elmer (Jack) and Irene (Fannie) Whitley.
Born and raised in Harlingen up until 1957 when she married her husband Richard Foster a Sgt in the USAF.. A life of travel ensued. Approximately every 3 years she would pack up her belongings along with her children and move to another state or country.
Because she was taught Bible truths by her father early on Georgia sought out Kingdom Halls wherever her husband’s career in the military took them. In the early 1970’s she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and continued as a faithful witness up to her death.
Georgia loved people. After having been in sales most of her life it was easy for her to strike up a conversation with just about anyone who crossed her path. Her “striking green eyes and soft smile no doubt made it easy for them to engage in the conversation.
She was a lifelong animal lover. She cherished her pets Peanut, Pepper (dogs) and Blanca and Peaches (cats).
She will truly be missed by her Family and Dear Friends who look forward to the time when
Rev. 21 : 4 is fulfilled “ And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
