Born on July 8, 1943, Guadalupe was the middle son of Noe and Maria Lucia Cantu. He is survived by his brother, Ricardo M. Cantu. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noe and Maria Lucia Cantu,
and his older brother, Efrain Cantu.
Known affectionately as "Lupito" by family and friends, Guadalupe was a kind and gentle soul whose warmth, quiet strength, and caring nature touched the lives of those who knew him.
He will be remembered as a beloved brother, loyal friend, and cherished member of his community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 US Business 83, La Feria, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Guadalupe's life and honor his memory.
May he rest in eternal peace.
