Guadalupe Hernandez

Guadalupe Hernández, 71, of San Benito, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025.

He is survived by his former wife, Isobel Hernández, and their children, Christina Hernández (grandchildren Alexandra Zamora and Jessica Gonzalez), Sergio (Evelyn) Hernández (grandchildren Erik and Emily Hernández), Guadalupe Hernández (Irene Rojas) (grandchild Shawn Hernández), and Patricia Hernández (grandchildren Joanthony Torres, Arianny, Sophia, and Victoria Prieto).

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanna Hernández; his parents, Castulo and Marina Hernández; and his brother, Castulo Hernández, Jr.

He is also survived by his beloved wife, Angelica Hernández, and her children, Lizeth (Gabriel) Hernandez (grandchildren: Justin Rodriguez, Liv Lynn, Jose Gabriel Jr., Miguel Antonio, Vida Leigh, and Gregorio Onemaus Hernandez); Yarely (Nicholas) Rodriguez (grandchildren: Haley Aleene Rodriguez and Aliyah Amelia Rodriguez); Alejandro (Maricela) Celis (grandchild: Adalynn Celis); Angel Avila ; and his siblings, Rafael Garcia (Delia), Olivia Martinez (Abelardo), Felicita Martinez (Victor), and Eloisa Hernández (Francisco), and many nieces and nephews.

Guadalupe was a devoted father and stepfather, a cherished brother, and a man who touched the lives of all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas, 78559, on October 26, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

A Holy Rosary will take place at the same location on October 26, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Military Honors will be rendered at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park on October 27, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

Services are under the guidance of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Crematory and Heavenly Grace Memorial Park. A Dignity Memorial provider. Services are under the direction of Daniel Roberto Gomez, Julissa Maldonado, FD, and Crispin Garza, FD&E.
