Imelda Torres

Imelda Torres went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 06, 2026. She is reunited with loved ones who have preceded her in death: her beloved husband of 54 years Merced F. Torres, her grandson Merced R. Prieto, her great grandson Bryan I. Medina, Sister Maria Luisa Guerrero, Brother Federico Villafranca and Parents Aniceto and Maria Villafranca.

Imelda is survived by her loving daughters Diana Perez (Jorge), Noemi Leyva (Ralph), Ernestina Reyes (Simon) and Maria M. Prieto (Eloy); Sister Anna Contreras (Pedro); Sister in-law Julia Crivellone; Grandchildren Sigifredo Sendejas Jr., Daniel Sendejas (Karen), Joshua Perez, Victoria Perez, Nina C. Menchaca (Matthew), Marisa M. Lopez, Anthony J. Prieto, Jennifer N. Prieto, Simon Reyes III, and Gabriela Reyes; Great Grandchildren, Eros A. Muniz, Destiny B. Medina, Damian Mendoza Jr., Michael J. Mendoza, Gabriel Mendoza, Genesis G. Menchaca, Alyxandria M. Menchaca, Danica A. Sendejas, Ezra A. Prieto, Elena N. Prieto, Eilani Y. Prieto, Isabella Prieto and numerous nieces and nephews.

Imelda Torres was a proud member of Triumphant in Christ Church. As the matriarch of her family, Imelda was the heart of her home. She devoted herself fully to her Lord and her family. She always provided the best that she could, enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting and worshiping the lord with Coritos. Imelda will be deeply missed, but we take comfort knowing she is with our Lord, where there is no sorrow or pain, only peace.

Visitation will be held at HEAVENLY GRACE MEMORIAL PARK FUNERAL HOME, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on May 11, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Prayer Service at the same location on May 11, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Chapel Ceremony will take place at HEAVENLY GRACE MEMORIAL PARK FUNERAL HOME, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on May 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Committal Service at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 Business 83, La Feria, TX 78559, US, on May 12, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
