On January 10, 2022 our family suffered the tragic loss of our beloved and cherished Jake Ryan Andreatos. The heartbreak and grief that his departure leaves behind is unimaginable as we mourn the loss of our wonderful and loving Father, Husband, Cousin, Nephew, Son, Grandson, Brother, and friend. The world lost a beautiful soul and one of the kindest and genuine people we have ever known. This immeasurable loss will be felt by all those who loved him deeply for the rest of our lives, but we will never forget him and his spirit will live in and through us all for generations to come.
Jake was born on September 23, 1987 in McAllen, Tx with a large group of family and friends to celebrate his arrival into this world. What a gift from God Jake’s life was, he was the pride and joy of our family and he grew up as the sweetest boy with an amazing heart and passion for life. Jake was an amazing athlete and never shied away from competition. Whether it be an annual family basketball grudge match or little league baseball, his athleticism and competitive drive always shined in all that he did. There was one sport that would capture his heart more than the others and it was baseball! Jake was an amazing baseball talent and excelled as a young man on the diamond, with his dad coaching from the sideline. Jake went on to play high school baseball and always maintained his love for the game and his favorite team the Houston Astros, which was a favorite topic of conversation with Jake. He carried on his passion for the game by teaching and coaching his boys in their early baseball careers. He and his wife, Kayla, even gave the boys baseball names Dean Nolan (Nolan Ryan, Jake’s favorite player) and Sam Rawlings (his favorite glove). Jake married the love of his life Kayla Andreatos on March 15, 2015, and they started their new life together in Houston before moving to McAllen, Tx in Christmas of 2015. Jake joined his dad in his business at National Commercial Kitchen and Repair. Jake excelled with NCER and quickly became the go to guy for even the trickiest job and showed an amazing ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, there was nothing that Jake couldn’t fix. Jake’s greatest role was as a husband and a father and his love for his family never waivered and it was evident to anyone that met them that he was enamored with his family. His boys were the pride of his life along with his loving wife, and his ability to share his love with them and all of his family and friends was what made Jake such a special person.
Jake is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Jerry Andreatos and Rose Andreatos, Grandparents George and Peggy Andreatos, and his Grandpa Don Clifford.

Jake was taken from us all far too soon and we will feel this loss forever, but we are so grateful for the gift of his life and the time and memories we have of him. Jake, we love you beyond words and will be reunited with you one day, but until then your love lives on in all of our hearts and lives. Rest in peace and know that we love you and are proud of you and all you meant to so many and the love you shared
with us all.
