James Robert Mendoza

Robert was a hardworking young man who spent most of his time on a John Deere Tractor haling bales.

He had a love for racing and driving around town in his mustang. Robert served his community as a school board member for Santa Rosa ISD. He had many friendships that he valued. In his recent days, he enjoyed sitting outside in company of his neighbors and listening to music.

James is survived by their daughter Amber Mendoza; and their daughter Samantha Mendoza; their aunt (mother) Manuela Vento; their sister Irma Cantu and their brother Carlos Vento (Tanya Vento); their girlfriend Vanessa Gonzalez.

James was preceded in death by their mother Carolina Mendoza and their uncle (father) Cipriano Vento; their brother Delfino Mendoza.

A visitation for James will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 101 San Antonio Ave, Santa Rosa, TX.
