Juana Lilia Serrato Marez, 62 passed away in the comfort of her home, on Monday January 8, 2018. She was born on September 6, 1955 in Weslaco Texas to Filiberto Mendoza Serrato and Maria Guadalupe (Maldonado) Serrato. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend. She was loved by all and will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Guadalupe Maldonado Serrato and her loving brother Filiberto (Rolando) Serrato Jr. She is survived by her husband Henry Marez and her son Joseph Barela, her brothers Antonio (Darlene) Serrato, Arturo (Beatrice) Serrato and Guillermo Serrato, nephews Arturo Serrato Jr. Daniel Serrato and Anthony Serrato, nieces, Veronica Marie Serrato, Alexis Marie Serrato and Magdalen Jane Serrato. Memorial Services will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home on January 11, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Arrangements under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, La Feria, TX.
