Jimmy was a graduate of Harlingen High School class of 1969. He was a chaplains assistant in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Jimmy worked at Mac's Installation for 42 years, he was an active member and past president of the Grace Lutheran Church and active volunteer for Sea Turtle, Inc.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Rita Joy Galloway; daughter Shannon Galloway (Melissa); and daughter Kelly Galloway (Lollie); mother Mina Lee Galloway; brother Bryan Galloway (Rhonda), sister Brenda Collins (Griff), sister Sandra Galloway and sister Cindy Galloway-Schmidt (Charles). Jimmy also leaves behind several nieces and nephews all who will miss him dearly.
Jimmy was preceded in death by; father Hershel Galloway; brother Daniel Galloway.
A celebration of life for Jimmy will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 1001 E Jackson Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550.
