He was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, to the late Arnold and Florence Swoboda Harings.
Joe was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force.
He lived most of his life in the area around Chippewa Falls and worked in sales and real estate before relocating to Texas in retirement. Joe loved the warm weather of South Texas and spent much of his time playing golf and exercising at the pool.
He is survived by his son, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
