Juana was was a proud long-term resident of Mercedes, Texas. There she began what later became her legacy as a proud owner and chef of her own restaurant, “Lozano’s Café”. She enjoyed watching novelas, scratching lottery tickets, and gardening. A devout woman of faith, she found joy in spending time at Our Lady of San Juan Church. Juana loved welcoming company into her home and was known for her loving, friendly, and genuinely sweet spirit. She especially enjoyed dancing alongside her grandchildren and filling every moment with laughter. Her smile could brighten any room. Juana also had a passion for dressing up, wearing makeup, and accessorizing with jewelry. She lived for her children and grand babies; now may they live for her, guided by her love and protected by God’s embrace.
She leaves behind her daughter, Erica Lozano (Omar Garza), along with their children: Briana, Kayla, and Joseph.
She is also survived by her son, Rogie Lozano, and his wife, Rosie Lozano.
Her eldest daughter, Lydia Gonzalez, and her husband, Carlos Delcid Silva, also remain to cherish her memory, along with their children: Cecilia Ruiz (Kevin Treviño), Guadalupe Ruiz (Jennifer Ortega), Mary Roque (Anthony Roque), Soledad Gonzalez, and Azul Andrade (Pedro Andrade).
Juana was blessed with many great-grandchildren: Kathryn, Emilio, Destyne, Kevin Jr., Ivonne, the Ortega-Ruiz children, Mya, Mila, AJ, Chloe, Anthony Jordan, and the Andrade children.
She is also survived by her loving husband, Rogelio Yrigoyen; her siblings, Antonina, Soledad, Virginia, Pablo, and Fermín; and her dearest friends, Ruben and Chela Galvan, along with the Galvan family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved furry companion, Mr. B (“Mr. Feet”), who brought her years of joy and comfort; her mother, Soledad Durán Gonzalez; her father, Juan Antonio Gonzalez Manríquez; and her siblings, Juan Gonzalez and Maria Estela Arratia.
We would like to express gratitude to all those who cared for her. Thank you to Mt.
