Judy Smith, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, educator, musician, and animal advocate passed away peacefully surrounded by love.
Judy touched the lives of many through her kindness, wisdom, creativity, and love of learning. As a teacher and coach, she had a gift for motivating, inspiring and helping individuals reach their potential. She especially loved literature, finding beauty and meaning in stories, poetry, and the power of words.
Music was another treasured part of Judy’s life. A talented and creative musician, she sang and played piano and guitar, and she expressed her own heart through music by composing melodies and writing lyrics. Her music was a reflection of the depth, warmth, and creativity that she carried throughout her life.
Judy also found great joy in the many animals she loved and cared for over the years. Her love for animals was a testament to her gentle and compassionate spirit.
Above all, Judy cherished her family and the people she called friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth and meaning to the lives of those around her.
Her family and friends will carry her memory forward—in the stories they share, the music they remember, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely.
Judy was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
