Julian Chavez, 80, of Harlingen, TX , passed away on January 25, 2025. Born on July 16 1944, in La Feria, TX, Julian was a loving father, son, brother and friend.

Julian is survived by his partner Carmen Rodriguez his son Julian Chavez Jr. (Veronica), his grandchildren Julian Austin Chavez III and Ava Grace Chavez, and his brother Alfredo Chavez. He is preceded by his parents Manuel and Saturnina Chavez and his siblings Amelia Chavez Linkous, Gregorio Chavez, Lucila Chavez Mendez, and Mary Chavez.

Julian is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Julian will occur Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1PM-9PM with a rosary at 6PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559. A chapel service will occur Monday, February 3, 2025 at 10AM with a burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park,14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559.

Serving as pallbearers: Julian Chavez Jr, Julian Austin Chavez III, Gabriel Chavez, Marco Mendez, Richard A. Rodriguez, and Israel Rodriguez.

He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
