Julio was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He enjoyed playing his accordion and listening to corridos. He loved to socialize and spark conversations with strangers. He truly enjoyed being in the company of others. To some he may have been a bit rough around the edges but he truly had a heart of gold. He was a sensitive and loving, gentle soul. He was the patriarch of the Ruiz family, and his legacy will always be cherished. Thank you to our family and friends for their hospitality in our time of sorrow. Thank you to all the doctors and medical staff in Round Rock, Austin, and Harlingen that have provided care for him over the past few years.Thank you to his beloved wife, our beloved mother, for always loving, caring, and being by his side. She never left his side and is an example of a true iconic woman by being his wife in the good and bad times and in sickness & health.
