Leobardo Martinez Jr.

Leobardo Martinez Jr., age 52, passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on July 14, 1973, Leobardo was a beloved presence to those who knew him and will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection. He resided in La Feria, Texas.

Leobardo Martinez Jr., also known as Lito, was a loving, caring father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was deeply involved with his community and always willing to go out of his way to help anyone in need. Lito had a passion for supporting political campaigns and lending a helping hand wherever he could, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others.

He cherished spending time with his family at home and loved bringing family and friends together. Lito had a joyful spirit and loved dancing wherever he went, truly living life to the fullest; his beautiful character, natural charisma, and vibrant personality could light up any room he entered. If Lito was there, you knew it; his loud infectious laugh and voice filled the space with warmth and happiness.

Leobardo was also the proud owner of a successful business, Quality Lawn Care and Landscaping, which he built with dedication and pride. Through his work and kindness, he earned the respect and love of many of the community.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May you continue to smile, bring laughter to the heavens, and watch over your family and friends as you dance in the sky.

We love you today, tomorrow, and forever.

Leobardo is survived by his sons, Ethan Luke Martinez and Ezra David Martinez; mother, Rosa Gonzalez; sister, Rosemarie Martinez; brother, Devin Rey Martinez; nephews, Aldrich R. Becerra and Davian Jude Maya; niece, Laurelle Marie Galvan; and aunts, Julia Martinez De La Garza, Teresa Martinez Velasquez, Enedina Martinez Cruz, Isabel Martinez Alva, Edolina Martinez, Irene Martinez, and Maria Theresa Silva.

Leobardo is also preceded in death by Father Leobardo Martinez, Grandfather Ramon Martinez, Grandmother Elisa Cabrera Martinez, Grandfather Victor Gonzalez, Grandmother Flora Gonzalez, and Uncles Victor Gonzalez and Ramon Martinez Jr.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home on March 15, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be held at from 7:00 pm.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, located at 502 S Canal Street, La Feria, Texas 78559, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park at 11:00 am on Monday, March 16, 2026.
