

Leticia Huerta Hernandez, born May 9, 1977, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the age of 49. She was a lifelong resident of La Feria, Texas.
Leticia “Leti” Huerta Hernandez was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and was considered the best sister anyone could ask for.
Leti will always be remembered for her big heart, generous spirit, and selfless nature. She was always willing to help others and consistently placed the needs of those she loved before her own. She shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved and treated as if they were her own children. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Leti is survived by her mother, Maria Consuelo Huerta; her son, Orlando Gonzalez; her stepchildren, Devyn Justice Hernandez, Eliana Marie Hernandez, and Alicia Danielle Hernandez; and her grandchild, Penelope.
She is also survived by her sisters, Corinna Ballin (Pedro), Yolanda Martinez Hernandez (Josue), and Criselda Garcia (Sergio); as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Sabrinna Lee Azamar, Michael Cipriano Vento, Marcos Luis Vento, Sergio Garcia Jr., Jordan Kayne Garcia, Khloe Allison Hernandez, and Josue Catarino Hernandez Jr.
Leti was preceded in death by her father, Luis Perez Huerta, and her husband, Rolando Hernandez.
Her generous heart, selfless love, and beautiful spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Sunday, August 02, 2026, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559.
Visitation will resume from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home.
A funeral ceremony honoring and celebrating Leti's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 2026. Christian burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
Services are under the guidance of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial provider. Services are under the direction of Daniel Roberto Gómez, Luis Guzman Ortiz, and Julissa Maldonado.
