Born in Austin, Texas on December 21st, 1951 she grew up among the lovely scenery which Austin is so famous for.
Lucy attained a Master's Degree in School Administration and began a long, fruitful career as a Vice Principal and an English teacher. She loved to travel and craved adventure.
Lucy is fondly remebered by her students and colleagues and is lovingly remembered by her family.
She is is survived by her Step Mother-Mary Ann Black, her brother-Thomas Black and his wife Annetta Black, their daughter's Laura Stribling and Sarah Ontiveros.
The last seventeen years of her life she shared a home with and is survived by her sister-Lisa Black, her niece Caraline Coulter and for the last three years Caraline's daughter Amelia Coulter who brought much joy and love into Lucy's life.
Lucy is survived by three grandnieces, a grandnephew and numerous cousins whom she adored.
She will be sorely missed.
