Luis Gerardo Fabian

Luis Gerardo Fabian went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2026, at the age of 68; he was born on August 6, 1957, and was a resident of Harlingen, Texas.

Luis was a hardworking man who dedicated more than 40 years of his life working as a distributor. He loved watching his favorite soccer team, Los Tigres, and cheering for his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, barbecuing, listening to music, and, most of all, spoiling his grandchildren. Luis had a special way of making connections with others, and anyone he met quickly became a friend. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply loved his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cliseria Fabian, née Castilla; his son, Luis Gerardo Fabian Jr., and daughter-in-law, Nicole Villarreal; his five grandchildren, Sierra, Jacob, Eliana, Jazmine, and Isabella; and his great-granddaughter, Kara, with a great-grandson on the way. He is also survived by one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, three sisters, and one brother.

Luis was preceded in death by his mother, Maria del Refugio Tapia; his father, Ignacio Fabian Torres; and his brothers, Jose Alejo, Antonio, Juan, and Ignacio.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the recitation of the HOLY ROSARY at 7:00 pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559, 956-797-5614.

A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1313 W Buchanan St, Harlingen, TX 78550, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 am.

The committal service will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 Business 83, La Feria, TX 78559.
