Luz is survived by her daughter Rosa Maria Arguelles (Martin Arguelles); and her son Julio Cesar Gutierrez (Ma. Rosa Reyes Castillo); her siblings Virginia Gutierrez Ruiz, Rosalva Ochoa, Antonio Gutierrez and Juan Gutierrez; her life partner Armando Serreta.
Luz was preceded in death by her son Juan Manuel Garcia.
Luz is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A visitation for Luz will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
