Magdalena was a retired nurse and health care provider for many years having work at Dolly Vincent Hospital, Valley Baptist Medical Center, and in Laguna Hills, CA.
She was “Happy Go Lucky”, with a big heart for those she met; Always motivated you to strive to be your best.
Magdalena is survived by her son, Jose Jesse Leal of Harlingen; daughter, Veronica (LeRoy) Flores of Harlingen; grandkids, Derrick Flores and Ysabella Leal both of Harlingen; brothers, Jesse (Lynn) Leal of Brookings, OR.; and Jose (Sara) Leal of Tijuana, MX; sister-n-law, Margie Leal of Tucson, AZ.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hermenejildo and Nazaria Leal; and brothers, Victor Leal, Pedro Leal, and Fortino Leal.
Visitation hours will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary @ 7:00 pm in Heavenly Grace Chapel. Funeral services are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory. (956)797-5500
