Maria is survived by her daughters Geneva Guerra. (Billy), Patricia Flores (Alfonso) and her son Sergio Carlos Gutierrez.
Maria loved spending time with her sisters and playing bingo. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and was their #1 supporter and fan in whatever activity they participated in. She loved spending time outdoors with her plants or talking on the phone. She was energetic and always helped everyone especially when it come to party planning, mum making, cooking, decorating and collecting rocks.
Her zest for life and loving heart will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Maria was preceded in death by her son Rafael Gutierrez and her sisters Rafaela Foster and Nellie Cantu.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Harlingen Medical Center for their help and care of their beloved mother.

A prayer service will occur Friday, February 11, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A chapel service will occur Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A burial will occur Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 E Business 83, La Feria, Texas 78559.
