

Martin was a man of faith, service, and dedication. He took great pride in serving his Lord and his community and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree, where he exemplified the values of charity, unity, and patriotism.
In his personal life, Martin enjoyed collecting pens, lighters, and guns—interests that reflected his appreciation for craftsmanship and history. He was known for his commitment to helping others and for living his life guided by strong faith and service.
Martin will be remembered for his devotion, generosity, and the positive impact he made on those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Martin survived by his wife; Rosie Villarreal, his children; Veronica Villarreal, Martin R. Villarreal ( Valerie), David R Villarreal, his grandchildren; Akira Villarreal, Iliana Villarreal, Zachary Villarreal, Connor Villarreal, Giovanni Villarreal and his niece; Veronica.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Juan Ayala Villarreal, Abigail Villarreal, his sister; Janie Lucio, his brother in law; Juan Lucio and brother; Juan Villarreal.
A visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas, 78559, on December 31, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A rosary will be recited during the visitation at 6:00 pm.
The funeral mass is scheduled for January 2, 2026, at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart Of Mary in Harlingen, TX. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 Business 83, La Feria, Texas, 78559, at 11:00 am.
