December 8, 1947 - October 9, 2023
Michael John Fuller passed away peacefully in South Texas with his wife and daughter by his side. It is fitting that God chose to take him on Canadian Thanksgiving. Those who knew Michael knew him to be an eternal optimist and a kind, loving, happy, generous, and grateful man. Perhaps the other angels needed help prepping that big turkey dinner in the sky. Michael opened restaurants across Canada, the Bahamas and Central and South America.
Born on December 8, 1947 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He met Carolynne at Churchill High School in Winnipeg. He went on to study Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Denver, where was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. Michael and Carolynne married September 16, 1972. Michael was especially fond of expressing his love through cooking; he often made breakfast in bed for Carolynne, and he loved making large elaborate dinners. He has passed this love of cooking onto this children and grandchildren. He loved a good joke and great music. Michael never missed a chance to tell his family how proud he was of them and how much he loved them.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife Carolynne; son John (and wife Priscilla) and daughter Christine “Kippy” (and husband Peter) and his cherished grandchildren Garrett, Alexa, Olivia, JJ, and Thomas. Michael’s family will be holding a private ceremony in Vancouver, the place they have always considered home.
“He lived well, laughed often and loved much” and he would want you all to do the same.
