

Narciso was a proud veteran of the Korean War, honorably serving his country and attaining the rank of Specialist Third Class. Following his military service, he devoted his life to his family, working tirelessly to provide for his beloved wife, Elpidia, and their five children.
Narciso and his family made their home in Barstow, California, where he spent more than three decades working at a Marine Corps Logistics Base. Through hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication, he achieved his lifelong goal of providing stability and a brighter future for his children and the generations that followed.
Upon retirement, Narciso and his wife returned to her hometown of Sebastian, Texas, where he enjoyed the fruits of a life centered on faith, family, and service. He was a man of quiet strength, perseverance, and deep love for those closest to him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the values he instilled in them.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elpidia Oviedo Alonzo, and his son, Marin Alonzo.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Rachel Bridgman, Patricia Mann, Narciso Alonzo Jr., and Hector Alonzo; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, dedication, and example.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
