Nelson B Troth Jr.

He was a man of deep warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and work A proud graduate of North College Hill High School, Nelson played football with the same enthusiasm and teamwork that he carried throughout his life. He later served in the Air Force Reserves Rescue Division, a role that reflected his courage and commitment to helping others. Nelson built a fulfilling career as a railroad conductor, dedicating 40 years to his work and taking great pride in doing his job with excellence and integrity. He met the love of his life, Eloisa, in Mexico a country that held a special place in his heart. Together, they shared a love of travel, exploring Mexico, Thailand, Brazil, and Europe, with Acapulco remaining one of his favorite destinations. Nelson also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Like working on cars, and spending time with family and friends. Nelson's kindness, humor, and genuine heart touched everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love for family, and the joy he brought to those around him.

Nelson is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Eloisa Troth, and He will be deeply missed by his sister, Inez (Joe) Enderle, and his nieces and nephews: Jenny (Mike) Bowman, Joel Enderle, Stephanie Henderson, Tim (Heather) Troth. Grand Nieces and nephews Chris (Blair) Moore, Zach Moore, Aly, Amanda, Delaney, Riley, and Samuel and Great Grand nieces and nephews Camden and Jordan Moore, Madelyn Moore, Astin, London and Kitt Jerrit. He is also survived by his brothers- and sister-in-law: Katherine Troth, E. Gaston Gonzalez S., Hector Gonzalez S., Jesus Gonzalez S., and Laura Gonzalez S. .

Nelson is preceded in death by his father Nelson Troth Sr., Mother Julia Howard, Sister Ann, Brother Norman Troth, nephew Jeff Troth

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday November 7, 2025 at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be held on Friday November 7, 2025 at 3:00pm at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home with Rosary at 6:00 pm.
