Omar O. Closner Sr., age 66, of Mercedes, Texas passed away on Monday June 11, 2018. Omar was born September 22, 1951.

Omar is survived by his wife, Angela L. Closner; son Omar Closner; daughter Laura Cardona; son Tomas Closner; daughter Tania Closner; son Omar Closner; and son Jomar Closner; brother Oliver Closner, brother Oscar Closner, sister Helen Ortiz, sister Alma Barroso and sister Nancy Lopez.

Omar was preceded in death by; sister Mary Closner.

A memorial service for Omar will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Mercedes Christian Church, 612 S. Texas Ave., Mercedes, Texas 78750. A cremation will occur.
