Pedro Cortez
August 30, 1954 – February 19, 2021
Pedro Cortez, age 66, of La Feria, Texas passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. Pedro was born August 30, 1954 to Maria Josefa Cortez and Ramon Cortez.
Pedro is survived by his wife of 44 years Juanita Ramos Cortez; daughter Sonia Cortez; daughter Adriana Viramontez (Paul); and daughter Mayra Cortez; brother Jose Luis Villarreal, brother Jesus Cortez, brother Gilberto Cortez, sister Juana Gonzalez, brother Abran Lopez, sister Lidia Estrada, sister Elida Lopez, brother Francisco Lopez, sister Diana Rodriguez, sister Dalia Perez and grandson Juan Coronado, grandson Damian Viramontez and grandson Jacob Viramontez.
Pedro was preceded in death by his parents Ramon Cortez and Maria Josefa Cortez and his sister Maria Cortez.
A visitation for Pedro will be held Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A rosary to follow at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will occur Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church. 502 Canal St. La Feria North, TX 78559. A burial to follow at 11:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park. 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559.
