I'll never forget the times uncle Pete, his wife Theresa, uncle Alex, my aunt Santos, my mom, and mom's boyfriend Morrio all went dancing  at the Matamoros Ballroom on Jensen St. 
Beautiful memory's of everyone dancing and having a nice time.  
Love you too Pete. I know in my heart you are now dancing with Jesus,  that you are happy, healthy and whole. And that you are rejoicing with all of our loved ones that went before you. Until we meet again rest easy tio Pete💛

El Primo Pete, the story teller. Always visiting my Mom and Henry.. preferring black coffee, lil sugar.  Henry and Pete had a bond, or at least in their last year's. They would talk or argue all the while. Having a smoke and cracking up on their mischievous memories... enjoying country music,  the classic country.  At the end of the day, he'd leave and both always shook hands..one saying" see you tomorrow, the other" hurry back... Primo..R.I.P.

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. 

Pete always brightened the room with his wit and warm heart. We didn’t spend a lot of time together but the times we did, he always made me feel loved. He always called me china doll and that was our thing. I’ll always be his china doll and now I have another guardian angel to look after me. I love you Pete! Give my grandma (Alicia), Lilia, Juana, and everyone else up there a big hug and kiss for me. Rest In Peace. 

Thank you uncle Pete for all the special memories with my family. You were always and still are in heart and prayers and I remember all the fun and silly things we all did together. I remember like it was yesterday when you lived with mom and we would all go over and play loteria and you would get so excited when you won. And not to mention the arguments you and mom (Licha) used to have....just about anything and everything, but at the end of the day...it was all Love and forgiven. TTG.  Both didn't hold back anything. I guess that's why you both had Serna's in you and would look for each other, but now your both with our dear God.
So glad mom thought us to stay in touch and I'm so blessed for having you in our lives and for visiting you every time I had. 
Thanks for everything and May God keep you in his Glory.

My earliest memories of my great uncle Pete was when he was a taxi driver in Houston. His character was fascinating and impressionable to me as a young boy.  He liked to work on cars and was not shy about his opinions and passionate about his beliefs. He was always kind to me and I enjoyed listening to his stories, especially the the funny ones where he laughed before finishing it.  I loved his bond with his sister, my Grandmother Alicia. Someone who didn’t know them may have assumed they were an old married couple when they debated. I know grandma loved him so much.  Thank you Uncle Pete for the stories, advice, and time we had together.  Rest In Peace.
